In May New York Times best-selling author Lindsey Pollak and Nicky Garcea, Co-Founder from Cappfinity, launched 2020Strong, a ground-breaking global research project exploring the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the graduating class of 2020 and the future of graduate hiring.
Based on interviews with more than 30 global talent leaders, the research explored the future of early careers hiring, including shifts in on-campus recruiting and virtual hiring.
Now, building on the research findings, we are providing practical, actionable advice on the ways in which employers and career services professionals can adapt their approach to the post-pandemic employment landscape.
Our first key initiative, responding to the needs of employers, early talent and career services, is to launch a virtual experience and development program. VEE (Virtual Experience and Evaluation) will provide students with access to strengths-based development and evaluation aligned to career readiness skills.
